Meet Isa Slish
Isa Slish was born with a limb difference, but that hasn’t stopped her from living her best life! She is the newest Gerber Baby and is sure to inspire others with her story.
Isa was born with a rare condition called amniotic band syndrome, which caused her to have a partial amputation of her left arm. She has never let this stop her from doing anything she’s wanted to do. In fact, she loves swimming, horseback riding, and playing the violin!
Her parents say that Isa is always positive and loves to make others smile. They are so proud of everything she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what she does next.
Gerber Baby Announcement
As many proud parents do, the couple posted a picture of their newborn on social media with the hashtag #GerberBaby. In the image, Slish is shown holding her left hand up to her face with her foot resting on her right arm. She has a full head of hair and bright eyes, and she’s wearing a onesie with Gerber’s logo on it.
The announcement quickly went viral, with people from all over the world praising Slish and her parents for their courage and strength. Many also commented on how beautiful Slish is, and how blessed her parents are to have such a special child.
This isn’t the first time that Gerber has featured a child with a disability in its advertising. In 2014, the company chose 16-month-old Jackson Roloff as one of its “spokesbabies.” Roloff has dwarfism, and his photo showed him sitting in a field of flowers, looking up at the camera with a big smile on his face.
Introducing the new Gerber Baby
Hello! We are excited to introduce the new Gerber Baby, Isa Slish. Isa was born with a limb difference and we feel she is a perfect representation of our brand. She is adorable, full of life and loves to play. We hope that by featuring her in our ads and social media campaign, we can help break down barriers for others with limb differences and show the world that anyone can be a Gerber Baby!
What is a limb difference?
A limb difference is a term used to describe a difference in the number, size, or structure of one or more limbs. This can include anything from a missing finger to a complete absence of an arm or leg. Limb differences can be present at birth (congenital) or may occur later in life (acquired). They can also be partial or complete.
How did Isa’s parents react?
Isa’s parents were overjoyed when she was born. They had no idea she would be different from other babies, but they quickly learned that she was missing her left hand and two fingers on her right hand. Despite this, they saw Isa as a perfect and beautiful baby girl.
They immediately started looking into ways to help her live a full and happy life. They found support groups for families with children with limb differences, and they started researching prosthetic options.
They also reached out to the Gerber Baby company to see if Isa could become a Gerber Baby. They were thrilled when they found out that Isa had been selected to be the new Gerber Baby!
Isa’s parents are so proud of her and everything she has accomplished. They know that she is capable of anything she sets her mind to, and they will continue to support her every step of the way.
What does the future hold for Isa?
Isa Slish is a happy and determined little girl, who was born with a limb difference. She has two prosthetic legs and uses a wheelchair to get around.
Her parents are very supportive and have always encouraged her to be independent. Isa is currently learning how to walk with her prosthetic legs and is also working on improving her mobility with her wheelchair.
The future holds many possibilities for Isa. With the support of her family and the advancements in medical technology, she will continue to grow and thrive.
